Walsall and Gillingham scored within five minutes of each other in the second half as they played out a 1-1 draw in this evening's League One match at Banks's Stadium.
Hosts Walsall started the stronger and were close to breaking the deadlock when both Michael Cain and Paul Downing went close.
The opening goal didn't arrive until the 69th minute when Bradley Dack latched on to John Egan's long ball over the top and coolly slotted home.
Walsall levelled soon after when substitute Ashley Grimes smashed into the net after Gills keeper Stuart Nelson had parried into the danger area.
The Saddlers could have taken the lead moments later, but Romaine Sawyers blazed over the top.
Both sides stay where they were in the bottom half of the table, with Walsall 15th and Gillingham 18th.
