Stourbridge striker Jordan Murphy has penned a contract with Walsall after impressing manager Dean Smith during a trial at the League One club.
Murphy has found the back of the net for the Saddlers in friendlies that have taken place behind closed doors, and the teenager is prepared to work hard to break into the first team at the West Midlands club.
The 18-year-old is quoted by the Express & Star as saying: "It's a great environment to be in and the lads have made me feel really welcome since I came in.
"I'm looking forward to getting my head down, working hard, performing for the reserves and hopefully getting some first-team appearances."
Walsall have failed to record a win in their first five fixtures in League One this season.
