Former Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has seemingly committed the final years of his playing career to Watford with a new three-year contract.
The Brazilian, 34, was due to be out of contract this summer, but will now return to the Premier League with the Hornets after they achieved automatic promotion from the Championship.
"When you have the respect of the people, the respect of the fans, it's great to be around," he told the club website. "That's why I want to stay here for a long time.
"I believe when you feel good, you have to continue where you feel good."
Gomes signed a one-year contract with Watford last summer and went on to keep 15 clean sheets in his 44 Championship appearances.
