Watford forward Matej Vydra has reportedly edged closer to joining Reading on a season-long loan.
The deal is understood to include a £2m fee.
Vydra moved to Watford on a permanent deal earlier this summer after spending last season on loan at Vicarage Road from Udinese.
The Czech scored 16 goals in the Championship during the 2014-15 campaign.
He could now be on his way to the Madejski Stadium before the close of the transfer window, according to Sky Sports News.
Vydra has scored four goals in 15 appearances for the Czech Republic.
