Watford boss Quique Flores is reportedly very much open to the idea of bringing Emmanuel Adebayor to the club on a free transfer this month.
The Hornets currently sit in the top half of the Premier League table having taken 29 points from their 20 league fixtures to date.
The form of Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney in the final third has been a key part of the team's success this season, but it is understood that Flores wants more competition in that area of the field.
According to the Daily Mail, the Watford boss is open to signing Adebayor, who is currently a free agent after leaving Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.
The 31-year-old, who has recently returned from an extended break in Africa, has represented Arsenal, Manchester City and Spurs in the Premier League and also spent the 2010-11 campaign on loan at Real Madrid.
