Watford are on the verge of finalising a £2.65m deal with Dinamo Zagreb for young goalkeeper Adrian Semper, according to a report.
The 19-year-old was strongly linked with Premier League champions Chelsea last year, only for a transfer to collapse after holding an initial round of talks.
Semper could still be on his way to English football with Watford, however, as The Sun claims that the Hornets are in advanced discussions to land the teenage stopper in January.
However, the same report suggests that RB Leipzig may hijack the deal for Semper, who has already made more than 70 senior appearances.
Chelsea have since turned to Willy Caballero to provide competition for first-choice keeper Thibaut Courtois.
