Derby County midfielder Will Hughes is on the brink of joining Watford in a deal worth £8m, according to a report.
The Hornets are said to have entered advanced talks to sign the 22-year-old, who is currently away on international duty with England Under-21s.
BBC Sport suggests that Hughes will finalise a switch once returning from U21 Euro 2017 with the Young Lions, bringing an end to his six-year spell at Pride Park.
Hughes, strongly linked with a move to Everton earlier in his career, has made 165 appearances for the Rams at Championship level.
Marco Silva's Watford have made one permanent signing so far this summer, bringing in Tom Cleverley from Everton for an undisclosed fee, while Bologna midfielder Saphir Taider is also rumoured to be on their radar.
