Watford are reportedly interested in signing winger Allan Saint-Maximin from French club Nice.
The former France Under-21 international is said to have fallen out of favour with Nice boss Patrick Vieira, leading to speculation over his future at the Allianz Riviera.
Sky Sports News reports that Saint-Maximin would cost Watford a club-record £25m after scoring six goals in 29 appearances last season.
The 22-year-old has previously played for Saint-Etienne and Monaco but has reportedly attracted the attention of Premier League clubs with his performances for Nice.
Saint-Maximin was said to have been the subject of a bid from West Ham United last summer but could now be set to move to the Premier League if Watford and Nice can complete a deal.
Watford signed West Bromwich Albion defender Craig Dawson earlier this summer and Brazilian striker Joao Pedro will arrive at Vicarage Road from Fluminense in January.
