Watford are reportedly not interested in selling club captain Troy Deeney in this summer's transfer window.
Deeney, 30, has scored over 100 goals during his time at Watford - including 28 in the Premier League since the Hornets returned to the top flight for the 2015-16 campaign.
Earlier this summer, it was claimed that Watford would be prepared to sell the centre-forward ahead of the new season, and Cardiff City have since been linked with a move.
However, according to Sky Sports News, Deeney is still seen as a key player at Vicarage Road, and the club's head coach Javi Gracia is not prepared to sell him in this summer's transfer window.
Watford will begin their 2018-19 Premier League campaign at home to Brighton & Hove Albion on August 11.
