Watford confirmed that they have terminated the loan deal for Ozan Tufan.

The midfielder originally joined the club in the summer and he was set to be with the Hornets throughout the entire season, but he will now be returning to Fenerbahce.

The Premier League outfit revealed that the contract has been terminated by mutual consent, with Tufan having never made an appearance under new manager Roy Hodgson.

During his time with the club, Tufan made nine appearances for the club, starting just six times, while he has featured in 174 games for Fenerbahce during his spell with them.

The 26-year-old was originally signed by Xisco Munoz, but he will not be heading out on another loan deal, as the midfielder will now spend the reason of the season in Turkey.

The Hornets will be back in action on Saturday in a crucial fixture against Burnley in the Premier League, with both clubs in the relegation zone right now.
