Werder Bremen head coach Robin Dutt has admitted that his side were "desperate" to bring in Izet Hajrovic and he was glad that the deal was completed on Thursday afternoon.
Dutt said that the Bosnian was just the sort of player who could improve his attack, while sporting director Thomas Eichin is confident that Hajrovic will develop well while at the club.
"We're really pleased he's joining us," Eichin told Bundesliga.com. "We're sure he'll settle in quickly and develop as a player here.
"He's another offensive player we were desperate to bring in," added Dutt. "He's quick, confident on the ball and a very strong dribbler."
Hajrovic has played nine times for Bosnia.
