West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis has praised Brown Ideye for taking his opportunity in the side following the 2-0 victory over Swansea City.
Ideye was reported to be close to leaving at the transfer window, but the club-record signing has scored twice in two games since, and Pulis paid tribute to his approach after he scored the opener in Wednesday's win at The Hawthorns.
"He is a good lad, there is nothing wrong with him as a person," Pulis told Sky Sports News. "He has a good attitude. He trains well and works hard.
"It didn't work out for him at first, but we have given him his chance, and he has taken it. Everybody in the dressing room is really pleased for him."
The Baggies moved up to 14th in the Premier League with the win.
