West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis has revealed that he held discussions with winger Bakary Sako regarding a potential move to The Hawthorns during the summer.
Sako eventually penned a deal with Crystal Palace after leaving Wolverhampton Wanderers, but Pulis has insisted that there are no hard feelings after the Mali international opted to join his former club.
The 57-year-old told reporters: "We had Sako in twice and couldn't do the deal for whatever reason and that's the way football goes.
"He's done brilliantly for Palace and they are doing well so good on him and good on Palace."
Sako is expected to start for the Eagles when they host West Brom on Saturday lunchtime.
