West Bromwich Albion have signed Salomon Rondon from Zenit St Petersburg for a club-record fee.
The 25-year-old striker joins the Baggies on a four-year deal worth in the region of £12m.
Tony Pulis revealed earlier this week that he was looking to bring the Venezuela international to The Hawthorns and, having now passed his medical, Rondon is free to complete his switch.
"I am very happy to be here," he told his new club's official website. "This is a new opportunity in my career. I can't wait to be with the other players and to play.
"The club showed a lot of interest in me, that's what is important for a player, what you take into account, and there are expectations of me."
Rondon, who becomes Albion's fifth signing of the summer, has received full international clearance but is not eligible to feature in this evening's match against Manchester City.
