West Bromwich Albion have completed the signing of Peter Odemwingie from West Bromwich Albion for a fee of £2.25m.
Odemwingie has signed a two-year deal with the newly-promoted side having fallen out of favour at The Hawthorns following a failed attempt to force a move to Queens Park Rangers last January.
The 32-year-old is yet to feature in the Premier League this season and manager Steve Clarke decided to cash in on the striker, who was in the final year of his contract.
Odemwingie will look to earn a first-team place ahead of the likes of Frazier Campbell, Nicky Maynard, Rudy Gestede, Joe Mason and £7.5m summer-signing Andreas Cornelius.
The Nigeria international, who scored 31 goals in 89 appearances for the Baggies, could make his debut when Cardiff face Hull City on September 14.
