West Bromwich Albion manager Pepe Mel has insisted that Scott Sinclair has a future at the club.
The 24-year-old winger, who is on a season-long loan deal from Manchester City, has made just 10 appearances for the Baggies during the current campaign.
Despite Sinclair's limited opportunities at The Hawthorns, Mel is adamant that the he will feature more in the coming months.
"On Friday Scott spoke with me," Mel is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "I told him he is a good player, a good winger, but at the moment West Brom need hard work on the pitch.
"I assured him will play in the future. Of course, it is normal he is disappointed he is not playing. All the players want to play, this is normal."
West Brom are currently one point above the relegation zone in the Premier League table following Saturday's 1-1 draw with fellow strugglers Fulham.
