West Bromwich Albion have reportedly joined Everton in the race to sign Bordeaux striker Diego Rolan.
Recent speculation suggested that Everton boss Roberto Martinez had identified the Uruguay international as the ideal player to bolster his attacking options at Goodison Park.
However, according to The Sun, the Baggies have also been impressed by the 22-year-old's performances of late.
The report adds that West Brom scout Andy Thorn watched Rolan in action during Bordeaux's recent Europa League clash against Liverpool.
The frontman scored 15 goals in Ligue 1 last term, but he has only found the net once so far this season.
