Full-backs Cristian Gamboa and Jason Davidson have reportedly moved closer to completing moves to West Bromwich Albion.
The Baggies have been linked with a number of defenders during the summer, but it now appears that head coach Alan Irvine is ready to push through respective deals for the two players.
According to the Express & Star, Gamboa, who helped Costa Rica reach the World Cup quarter-finals, underwent a medical on Thursday ahead of a £2m move from Norwegian side Rosenborg.
The deal for Davidson has been more prolonged, with Dutch club Heracles insisting that they have the option of extending the Australian international's contract, but the West Midlands side are hopeful that a free transfer can be completed over the weekend.
