Hercules defender Jason Davidson has reportedly moved closer to a transfer to West Bromwich Albion.
The two teams have been in discussions regarding a fee that may be due to the Dutch side, but regardless of whether they receive compensation for the 23-year-old or not, the Eredivisie side have accepted that the Australian international will depart the club.
According to the Express & Star, that has paved the way for the Baggies to push forward with a deal for Davidson, who would challenge Sebastien Pocognoli for the left-back spot at The Hawthorns.
Davidson has made 46 appearances in two years with the Dutch outfit.
