West Brom have completed the signing of Nigeria international Semi Ajayi from Rotherham.
Ajayi, who can play in defence or midfield, has signed a four-year contract with the Baggies for an undisclosed fee, believed to be in the region of £1.5million.
The 25-year-old is West Brom's third summer signing, following Kenneth Zohore and Croatian midfielder Filip Krovinovic as new head coach Slaven Bilic continues to rebuild the squad.
"It's a great opportunity for me. I want to play at the highest level and I have joined a club with the ambition to get there," Ajayi said on the West Brom website.
"I want to play my part in helping the team get promoted because that is definitely the target."
Ajayi joined Rotherham on a free transfer from Cardiff during 2017 and went on to make more than 100 appearances for the Millers, who were relegated from the Sky Bet Championship last season.
"I know I'm not the finished article and I feel I can improve. I am playing alongside some top defenders and I think I can learn a great deal from them," Ajayi added.
"For me it doesn't matter where you are in the league – top or bottom. I want to win every game and I prepare like that.
"But I want to play at the highest level and it's exciting to be joining a club that wants to get back there."
