West Bromwich Albion have offered Saido Berahino a new four-year contract at the club, according to reports.
The 22-year-old is widely expected to leave The Hawthorns this summer having been kept at the club against his will when Tottenham Hotspur were interested last year.
Stoke City and Watford are both understood to be interested in the striker, but have so far been unsuccessful in their pursuits.
The Telegraph claims that there has now been another twist in the saga, with the Baggies making an attempt to keep Berahino by offering him a new long-term deal.
Berahino made just 17 Premier League starts for West Brom last season, scoring four goals.
