West Bromwich Albion will reportedly move for Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor at the end of the season.
It is understood that Baggies coach Dean Kiely ran the rule over the 30-year-old on Sunday with a view to completing a £1.5m move, according to The Sun.
The Baggies are expected to push ahead with their interest even though current boss Roy Hodgson is poised for the England job.
West Brom currently sit 10th in the Premier League table.
