Zoltan Gera could be planning a move back to West Bromwich Albion, reports suggest.
The Hungarian international, who spent four years at the Hawthorns from 2004, is out of contract at Fulham and is not expected to re-sign.
Initial talks were held earlier in the month, although a knee ligament injury had hampered proceedings.
However, negotiations have entered a new phase, according to Press Association Sport. Such a move would reunite Gera with Baggies manager Roy Hodgson, who had signed him to Fulham in 2008 during his managerial stint there.
