West Ham United have been drawn against AEK Larnaca in the last 16 of the Europa Conference League.

The Hammers cruised into the last 16 after winning all six Group B matches earlier this season to finish at the summit ahead of Anderlecht, Silkeborg and FCSB.

David Moyes's side scored 13 goals and conceded only four, while they were the only team in this season's competition to conclude the group stage with a 100% record.

West Ham were rewarded for finishing top of their group by receiving a direct pass into the last 16, while runners-up had to battle with teams finishing third in the Europa League group phase in a playoff round to progress to the next stage.

Moyes and co can now pencil into their diaries a two-legged clash with Cypriot First Division leaders AEK Larnaca, who beat Dnipro-1 1-0 on aggregate in the playoff round.

After finishing top of their group, West Ham will travel to Cyprus for the first leg at the AEK Arena - George Karapatakis, and the reverse fixture will be held at the London Stadium.

Elsewhere, West Ham's group-stage opponents Anderlecht – who finished behind the Hammers in second place of Group B – have been handed a challenging draw against La Liga outfit Villarreal.

Struggling Serie A side Fiorentina – who thrashed Braga 7-2 on aggregate in the playoff round – will take on Turkish outfit Sivasspor, while another Italian side in the form of Lazio have been drawn against Dutch club AZ Alkmaar.

Lech Poznan of Poland, who scraped past Bodo/Glimt with a 1-0 second-leg win on Thursday, have been paired with Swedish side Djurgardens IF, who surprisingly topped Group F with five wins out of six.

Group F runners-up Gent of Belgium have been drawn against Turkish Super Lig giants Istanbul Basaksehir, while Swiss side Basel will test their mettle with Slovakian club Slovan Bratislava.

Finally, Sheriff Tiraspol – the first-ever Moldovan team to reach the last 16 in European competition – will take on Ligue 1 side Nice, who finished top of Group D on goal difference.

The first legs of the last-16 ties will be held on March 9 before the second legs takes place a week later on March 16.
