West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic has revealed that injury-hit Diafra Sakho is facing another "few weeks" on the sidelines after picking up a hamstring problem against Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.
The Senegal international opened the scoring in Sunday's Premier League clash at Old Trafford, but was forced to withdraw in the 66th minute after tweaking his hamstring while chasing for the ball.
Sakho has only just recovered from a three-month layoff, but Bilic has confirmed that the 26-year-old is facing more time on the sidelines.
"We don't know how long Sakho will be out for yet, definitely tomorrow, probably a few weeks. We know how important he is to us, he gives us a lot so it's a big blow and I hope he returns as soon as possible," Bilic told reporters.
However, Bilic has revealed that Andy Carroll could make his long-awaited return from a knee problem in Wednesday night's League Cup quarter-final with Man United.
