West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has revealed that Andy Carroll could return for tomorrow's trip to Southampton in the Premier League.
The striker missed Sunday's 1-1 draw with Manchester United after picking up an ankle injury against former club Liverpool.
When asked about potential team news for the game at St Mary's Stadium, Allardyce told the club's official website: "The possibility would be Andy Carroll. He may be fit but it'll be touch and go right up until we leave tomorrow morning."
Meanwhile, defender James Tomkins is expected to feature after suffering a broken nose against the Red Devils.
West Ham are currently in eighth place in the Premier League table, seven points adrift of the Champions League positions.
