West Ham United manager David Moyes has confirmed that attacker Said Benrahma should be available to face Brighton & Hove Albion in their final Premier League game of the season on Sunday.

The 26-year-old scored twice in the 4-0 win against Norwich City last weekend, but picked up an ankle injury in the final 15 minutes at Carrow Road.

Moyes has since provided a positive update on the Algerian but has also revealed that defender Issa Diop will remain sidelined with an ankle problem.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of their trip to the Amex Stadium, Moyes said: "Said Benrahma should be fit for the game. Issa Diop's ankle is not quite right yet, but we'd expect Benrahma to be available."

Moyes has also spoken about club captain Mark Noble, who is retiring at the end of the season, and insists that he will only select the midfielder if it will benefit the team.

"Mark's played well enough to play in the team and be involved, so if the right opportunity comes along, then [he will feature]," the Scotsman added. "But I'll only do what I think's right to get the best result. Obviously it'll be a big day for him."

Noble, who has recently seen the club's development pitch renamed in his honour, could make his 550th and final appearance for the Hammers on Sunday before ending his 18-year professional career.

West Ham United, who currently sit seventh in the table, must win away at Brighton and hope that Manchester United fail to beat Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park if they are to secure Europa League football for next season. body check tags ::
