Mark Noble has claimed that West Ham United's players wore the shirt with pride as they reached the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup at the expense of Tottenham Hotspur.
The Hammers looked down and out at the break in Wednesday night's encounter at Wembley Stadium following goals from Moussa Sissoko and Dele Alli.
However, Slaven Bilic's charges mounted an impressive comeback as an Andre Ayew brace and Angelo Ogbonna's winner saw the visitors seal a 3-2 victory against all odds.
"Being 2-0 down, not only against Spurs but any team, is a massive mountain to climb," Noble told Sky Sports News after the game.
"We have not been doing ourselves justice but I said during the week we have to wear the shirt with pride and we did that.
"You need a bit of luck and Andre Ayew was in the right place for the two goals."
The draw for the last eight of the EFL Cup will be held in London at 4pm on Thursday.
