West Ham United midfielder Michail Antonio has hailed his side's 2-2 draw with Liverpool at Anfield as a "massive" point in their battle to climb the Premier League table.
Antonio sent the visitors into half time with the lead after Dimitri Payet had earlier cancelled out Adam Lallana's opener, only for Divock Origi to pounce on a Darren Randolph mistake and restore parity early in the second half.
West Ham withstood the resulting onslaught for the remainder of the match to pick up a valuable point, though, and Antonio is hopeful that it will prove to be the first step towards moving clear of danger.
"We just need to keep pushing on. It's massive, we're playing to get out of the situation we're in," he told Sky Sports News.
"In the week hopefully [we will] get away from the situation we're in. It's a massive show of character and shows that we've got the right players to do it."
The Hammers are just one point clear of the relegation zone heading into matches against Burnley and Hull City next week.
