West Ham United striker Andy Carroll has revealed that he still hopes to be part of the England squad for this summer's World Cup.
The 25-year-old last played for his country in October 2012 before suffering a series of injury problems.
However, Carroll is now setting his sights on getting back in the England squad during the coming months.
"I have definitely not given up on the England squad and I never will do," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
Carroll has scored two goals in nine appearances for the Three Lions.
