West Ham United chairman David Gold has revealed that he would like manager Sam Allardyce to remain at Upton Park next season.
Allardyce's contract expires at the end of the season but despite talks not being formally opened between the two parties, Gold has hinted on Twitter that a contract offer could be forthcoming.
Gold tweeted: "Its highly likely that Sam will be with us next season. He likes us we like him. Thats a good basis for a on going relationship. Dg"
Allardyce has led the Hammers to 12th place in the Premier League table after achieving promotion from the Championship last season.
