West Ham United defender Carl Jenkinson has praised the team for being clinical in front of goal during Sunday's win over Queens Park Rangers.
The Hammers moved themselves up to seventh place in the Premier League table thanks to a 2-0 victory at Upton Park.
Following their well-documented struggles in front of goal, Jenkinson is pleased that West Ham were able to see off QPR with few problems.
"We've played games this season that we should have got more out of and didn't get the points, so it was very important that we won on Sunday and pushed ourselves up the table," he told the club's official website.
"We've played seven games now, we've got 10 points and I think we're seventh, so it's not a bad start to the season by any means."
Sam Allardyce's side resume their Premier League campaign after the international break when they travel to Burnley on October 18.
