Cheikhou Kouyate has claimed that West Ham United must learn how to 'kill off games' following their defeat to Leicester City.
Kouyate was on the scoresheet at the King Power Stadium on Saturday, but it was not enough to stop the Hammers suffering a late 2-1 loss.
Having had chances to win the game before Andy King's decisive strike four minutes from time, Kouyate believes that West Ham must be more clinical in front of goal if they want to enjoy a strong end to the season.
"It was a bad day for us and it was not nice to lose the game," he told the club's official website. "Leicester were giving it everything and attacking and attacking. This is football and on Saturday Leicester won. It's good for our experience because we need to learn how to kill the game."
West Ham are back in action on April 11 when they welcome Stoke City to Upton Park in the Premier League.
