West Ham United striker Nene has called on his teammates to "fight" against Chelsea at Upton Park tonight.
The Hammers are in need of a positive result against the Premier League leaders following a five-game winless run.
While he admits that it will be a tough match against Jose Mourinho's side, new arrival Nene is hopeful that a determined performance will help West Ham to turn their fortunes around.
"It's a difficult game, but we are playing at home and we need to try to fight to take the three points," he told the club's official website. "It's a game that all players want to play in and I'm no different. I expect that the team will do well and give a very good game for the supporters, hopefully with the victory."
Nene, who joined the club last month, made his West Ham debut during Saturday's 3-1 defeat at home to Crystal Palace.
