West Ham United's James Tomkins has claimed that the whole team should be proud of their defensive achievements last season.
The Hammers had the sixth-best record for clean sheets in the Premier League with 14 from 38 games.
However, Tomkins believes that it is not just him and his fellow defenders who should be receiving credit for such solid displays at the back.
"I feel that we've done a good job in terms of our defensive displays," he told the club's official website. "It has been a consistent performance all season really, so all the lads are really proud of that.
"It's not just the back four and the goalkeeper, it's the whole team. Like I said, the lads are really proud of that and the manager has made a big thing of it in meetings. As a defender as well, I'm proud of that."
West Ham finished the campaign in 13th place in the table.
