West Ham United have confirmed that a scheduled game between the women's team and an 'All-Star' side at Upton Park has been cancelled after consulting with the club's supporters.
The fundraising fixture was due to be played on June 5, in what would be the final match played at the ground before the club move to the Olympic Stadium this summer.
After receiving results of an online poll and social-media feedback from fans, the match has been scrapped by club officials.
West Ham Ladies joint-chairman Stephen Hunt told the club's official website: "Obviously the Ladies are disappointed but myself and Jack Sullivan will get together over the summer to see what else we can do in the future."
The decision means that the Hammers' dramatic 3-2 win over Manchester United in the Premier League will be the final game at Upton Park.
