West Ham United pair Sam Allardyce and Diafra Sakho have been rewarded by the Premier League by nabbing the Manager of the Month and Player of the Month respectively for October.
The Hammers had a 100% record in October by securing wins over Queens Park Rangers, Burnley and Manchester City, which moved them up to fourth in the league table.
"I was delighted to be presented with the Barclays Manager of the Month award for October," Allardyce told the club's official website. "It is an award I accepted gratefully on behalf of everybody at West Ham, from the owners to the tea lady.
"We all enjoy life more when we're winning football matches and certainly life has become that little bit easier for us all in recent weeks, with the reward being a very nice trophy."
Sakho was also rewarded for his efforts last month after scoring headers in all three of the games.
"I'm a bit surprised," said Sakho. "I'd like to thank everyone that helped me here. At the start it was a bit hard but now the most important part is helping the team do well."
West Ham are currently fifth in the league table, nine points behind leaders Chelsea.
