The Football Association has rejected West Ham United's attempt to have Adrian's red card against Leicester City rescinded.
The goalkeeper was sent off for a foul on Jamie Vardy towards the end of the Hammers' 2-1 defeat in the Premier League on Saturday.
West Ham lodged an appeal following the match, but Adrian's three-match suspension remains in place.
"A claim of wrongful dismissal submitted by West Ham United in relation to Adrian has been unsuccessful following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing earlier today," read a statement on the FA's official website.
West Ham are back in action on Saturday when they welcome Bournemouth to Upton Park in the Premier League.
