West Ham United joint-chairman David Gold has revealed that he is "thrilled" by the team's recent climb up the Premier League table.
The Hammers are currently in 10th place in the standings thanks to a run of four consecutive wins.
Gold now hopes that the team can continue their impressive form and secure their safety in the top flight.
"I'm absolutely thrilled," he told the club's official website. "We've certainly given ourselves a fantastic chance, and Sam (Allardyce) was saying to me that this time last year we actually had one point less than now. So this is a great performance."
West Ham continue their Premier League campaign on Saturday when they face Everton at Goodison Park.
