Premier League outfit West Ham United continue their pre-season preparations with a 2-2 draw with FC Slovacko in Austria.

West Ham United continued their pre-season preparations with a 2-2 draw against Czech side FC Slovacko in Austria on Tuesday afternoon.

The English side's first sight of the Slovacko goal came in the 11th minute when summer signing Sofiane Feghouli picked out the head of Martin Samuelsen with a smart cross, but the 19-year-old headed over the crossbar.

Feghouli's presence in a wide position continued to create openings for West Ham and Enner Valencia headed over the crossbar in the 23rd minute as the Premier League side came close once again.

Slovacko were also threatening though and came close in the 26th minute through experienced Czech midfielder Jaroslav Divis, who headed wide of the post from inside the box.

West Ham were ahead eight minutes before the end of the first period, however, when skipper Mark Noble fired home from inside the box after a smart cross from Samuelsen.

Slovacko thought that they had equalised shortly after the break when Velice Sumulikoski headed home from close range, but the referee blew for a push inside the West Ham box.

Instead, it was the Hammers that scored the game's second goal in the 52nd minute when Portuguese youngster Domingos Quina set up Ashley Fletcher, who headed home for his first West Ham goal since arriving from Manchester United.

Quina's movement in the final third continued to cause Slovacko problems as play developed and only some last-ditch defending on a number of occasions stopped the Hammers creating more chances to score.

Slovacko had one in the 85th minute when Eldar Civic forced the ball home from close range, however, before the same player controlled a deep cross at the far post and finished impressively four minutes later to secure a share of the spoils.

West Ham are back in action against Rubin Kazan tomorrow, while Slovacko will open their Czech Liga campaign against Sparta Prague on July 30.
