A Chris Wood header five minutes from time has denied 10-man West Ham United victory at Burnley as the two teams played out a 1-1 draw in the Premier League.
The Hammers took an early lead through Michail Antonio after Ben Mee misjudged Joe Hart's long goal kick, allowing it to wrong-foot his opposite number Nick Pope and gift the winger a tap-in.
Slaven Bilic's side found themselves a man down in the 27th minute when veteran striker Andy Carroll was shown a second yellow card for an elbow, his two cautions coming just 99 seconds apart.
Burnley were then denied a penalty when Wood was bundled over in the box by Hart, who did not appear to make contact with the ball, but it was the New Zealand international who had the final say.
The striker netted the Clarets' equaliser in the 85th minute when he headed Johann Gudmundsson's cross beyond Hart into into the back of the net.
The draw leaves Burnley, who have lost just once in seven games, in sixth place in the table while West Ham are 14th on eight points.
