Slaven Bilic has insisted that Dimitri Payet is not pushing for a move away from West Ham United in January and is instead "fully focused" on helping to lift the club back up the table.
The France international is reportedly one of the most sought-after attacking players heading into the transfer window, having stood out during an otherwise poor campaign for the Hammers thus far.
Payet has five goals and two assists from his 13 league outings following a disrupted start to the season, building on what was an impressive debut campaign in English football last time out when earning plaudits from many.
West Ham's cause was not helped last week with reports that the 29-year-old has a £15m relegation clause inserted into his contract, suggesting that United would perhaps look to cash in should their struggles continue, but Bilic says that he is not concerned by the ongoing speculation.
"I spoke to Dimitri Payet in my office on Monday and he is only thinking about our season," Bilic told reporters. "He is fully focused on the next few games.
"I will not discuss our transfer targets," he added. "We need a couple of positions that we are missing at the moment but we have a good team."
Bilic also confirmed that Cheikhou Kouyate is fit to face Burnley on Wednesday evening and Andy Carroll is also in contention, though Simone Zaza is unavailable due to a knee injury.
