West Ham United expect Modibo Maiga to complete a medical today ahead of a £4m move, according to reports.
Maiga will travel to East London after West Ham agreed a fee with Sochaux following lengthy negotiations.
The Malian striker came close to signing for Newcastle United in January but failed a medical due to a knee injury.
The 24-year-old would be a major coup for Sam Allardyce as he attempts to put together a squad capable of Premier League survival.
