West Ham United have reportedly signed Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Roger Johnson on loan for the remainder of the season.
Johnson had been on loan at Sheffield Wednesday after falling out of favour at Molineux, but he has now been handed a Premier League lifeline, with the move expected to be officially completed later this afternoon.
"It is just a loan deal at the moment and the finances are structured around him playing, how many appearances he makes and whether they are successful," Wolves boss Kenny Jackett told the Express & Star.
"It's a really good opportunity for him because he's going to a Premier League club."
West Ham are currently without first-team centre-backs Winston Reid, James Collins and James Tomkins through injury.
