West Ham United are reportedly lining up a move for Sevilla forward Youssef En-Nesyri.
The Morocco international has made an impressive start to the 2023-24 campaign for his Spanish club, finding the back of the net on two occasions in three appearances in all competitions.
The 26-year-old's future is currently the subject of much speculation, though, with Sevilla said to be willing to let him leave for the right price before the end of the transfer window.
According to The Sun, West Ham are lining up an offer for En-Nesyri, with Hammers boss David Moyes viewing him as an ideal replacement for Gianluca Scamacca.
The London club are believed to have a long-standing interest in En-Nesyri, with the striker linked with a switch to the Premier League side over the last few years.
The Morocco international has scored 55 goals and registered five assists in 158 appearances for Sevilla in all competitions, including eight goals in 14 Champions League outings.
En-Nesyri has also scored six times in 19 Europa League appearances, and the Hammers will compete in that competition this season following their 2022-23 Europa Conference League triumph.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are said to be keen to explore the possibility of signing Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho before the end of the summer transfer window.
The 26-year-old is out of contract next June and is expected to be on the move before the market closes, with the Nigerian thought to be reluctant to play in the Championship.
Iheanacho has scored once and provided one assist in four outings for Leicester this season, although he is yet to find the back of the net in the Championship.
According to the Evening Standard, Palace have identified the forward as the ideal replacement for Jean-Philippe Mateta, who is currently being linked with an exit.
The report claims that Eagles boss Roy Hodgson is a huge admirer of Iheanacho, making him one of his leading targets in the latter stages of the transfer window.
Mateta is said to be wanted by both Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig, and he is expected to leave over the next week.
Iheanacho has a wealth of top-flight experience, playing 196 times in the Premier League for Leicester and Manchester City, scoring 42 goals and registering 28 assists in the process.
Staying with Leicester, the future of defender Timothy Castagne is currently being called into question.
According to Football Insider, Fulham have made the Belgium international a leading target for the latter stages of the transfer window, with Cottagers boss Marco Silva said to be a 'big fan'.
The 27-year-old has another two years left to run on his contract at the King Power Stadium but is said to be available for the right price.
Castagne has not played a single minute for Leicester this season and was not even in the squad for their recent Championship games with Huddersfield Town and Cardiff City.
However, the defender has made 112 appearances for the Foxes, including 91 outings in the Premier League, scoring five goals and registering six assists in the process.
Castagne also has Champions League experience from his time at Atalanta BC, turning out on six occasions in the competition, scoring once. body check tags ::
