West Ham United hope to complete the signing of Marseille winger Dimitri Payet this week, according to reports.
The Hammers have reportedly bid £14m to sign the French international, as they continue to chase new players before their season gets underway in two weeks' time.
The Mirror claims that the club's hierarchy are increasingly confident that a deal will go through for a player they hope will bring goals and assists to the team
Payet made 21 assists last season.
