West Ham United have confirmed the signing of Jonathan Calleri on a season-long loan deal from Deportivo Maldonado.
Hammers boss Slaven Bilic earlier revealed that the club had reached an agreement with the 22-year-old, who spent time on loan with Sao Paulo earlier this year.
The Argentine was on the scoresheet for his country at the Olympics in Rio, but has now completed his move following Argentina's early exit from the Games.
Calleri was the top scorer in last season's Copa Libertadores, finding the back of the net nine times in 12 appearances for Sao Paulo.
The striker becomes West Ham's sixth signing of the summer, and also the sixth Argentine to play for the Hammers after Lionel Scaloni, Javier Mascherano, Carlos Tevez, Mauro Zarate and Manuel Lanzini.
