West Ham United are reported to be closing in on a move for Stockport County youngster Danny Whitehead.
The 19-year-old attacking midfielder netted five goals in 43 appearances last season.
He is expected to complete a medical in the coming days before sealing a switch to Upton Park, according to the Daily Mail.
West Ham will start the new Premier League campaign at home to Cardiff City on August 17.
