West Ham United could reportedly lose midfielder Mohamed Diame in the January transfer window due to the player's release clause.
The 25-year-old, who scored in the Hammers' 3-1 win over Chelsea on Saturday, has been a welcome addition to Upton Park since joining on a free transfer from Wigan Athletic.
It is believed that talks with the midfielder's agent are due to begin this week over his contract, which is thought to have a £6m release clause, according to the Daily Mail.
Reports have claimed that the Senegal international is in no hurry to tie himself down to a new deal at the Premier League outfit.
