West Ham United have been linked with a January move for former Manchester United striker Diego Forlan.
The Uruguay international is eyeing a return to Europe following a spell in his home country with Internacional, according to The Mirror.
Hammers boss Sam Allardyce is said to be keen to boost his attacking options, with record signing Andy Carroll still out injured.
West Ham are reported to be the frontrunners to secure the 34-year-old's services.
